Dr. Carolyn Ash has been practicing dentistry for over 25 years. She graduated from Chapman University in 1982 with a degree in piano performance. After experiencing the loss of her husband to an aggressive brain disease and the encouragement of her father, who is also a dentist, she pursued a career in dentistry. She obtained her general dentistry degree and completed a two-year Prosthodontics education at the University of Southern California.

Dr. Ash is a member of several professional associations, including the American Dental Association (ADA), California Dental Association (CDA), and the American College of Prosthodontists (ACP). Throughout her career, she has published research papers on topics ranging from TMJ research to gray whale migration behavioral characteristics to xeromorphic characteristics of plants.

Her practice philosophy revolves around treating patients like family and providing them with comprehensive dental care options. Dr. Ash believes in offering a multidisciplinary approach to dental health, empowering patients to make informed decisions about their treatment.

Dr. Ash chose community health as a way to find a dental home that values ethics, morals, and quality dentistry. After the tragic loss of her husband and parents, she joined the Indian Health Services and has been dedicated to serving the community ever since. Now, Dr. Ash is proud to open her practice Grand Junction Dentures and Implants to continue her enthusiasm for treating patients like family, and offering them a range of specialized treatment options. Her dedication to community health and love for nature and animals truly reflect her vibrant personality.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Ash finds joy in mountain biking, snowshoeing, snowboarding, hiking, and camping. She cherishes spending time with her family, including her grandsons Connor and Aidan, and her son Andrew. She also has a special love for cats and wildlife, and she has been actively involved in advocating for their well-being.
